Athletic Information:
Attention anyone planning on playing football: gear distribution is this Thursday at 4:00. Meet at the middle school in the back parking lot near the football room. Also, Spring football starts next Wednesday, May 31st. If anyone planning on playing football hasn’t yet met with Coach Craig, they need to so ASAP. Go Foxes!
Track and Field Athletes:  Because of a scheduling conflict our End of the Season Celebration has been postponed.  The new date and time is Tuesday, June 6th from 5-7:00 at the track.  Presentation of awards will begin at approximately 6pm.
Girls soccer players interested in playing in the summer 4H league can pick up the sign-up forms from Lisa Roth in Admin office.  They need to be turned into her by May 25th.
Attention FOXES! It’s that time of the year again and Italian sodas are back at the Frothy Fox, only $1.50!
Spirit Week Announcement: As you all know, the end of the school year is right around the corner which means it’s just about time for spirit games. To kick off the games, we will have dress up days:  Tuesday is Tropical day, Wednesday is Tie Dye day, Thursday is Country VS Country Club, and finally, Friday is Spirit Day. Make sure to get into it and show your school and class spirit! Go Foxes!
All girls playing summer basketball, practice starts on Tuesday, May 30th, at 3:30 in the gym.
Yesterday was the last day to check out books in the library. Starting today we will be only checking books in!
Ms. Hooker’s lizard, Charles, has gone missing. For those of you that don’t know, tropical lizards can’t survive without a heat rock/lamp, because they can’t produce their own heat. If you have the lizard or know where he is, please contact us ASAP. We are also offering a $100 reward for any information leading to the successful return of the lizard and information about the means by which he went missing. Thank you.
Wednesday, May 24th, was the last day to check out books in the library. Please check the fine list to see what you need to get turned in.
Any students interested in summer work assisting local area senior citizens with weeding and watering this summer, please get additional information in the counseling center.  Good paying jobs, hurry in!
Kraemer’s Nursery is now hiring, applications are available in the Counseling Center.
Looking for an after school or summer job? Make sure you are checking the bulletin board outside of the Counseling Center for all of the opportunities available.

It’s time for another attendance drawing! All students above the school goal attendance rate of 92% are eligible to enter the drawing. Mrs. Meraz will be entering names during AG and both lunches starting Friday, 5/12/2017., Good luck and be sure to check the attendance board for your name. Drawing will be this week!
On Friday, May 26th during AG, a professor from Chemeketa Community College will be here to talk about opportunities to study Japanese both during and post-high school. Students of all grades are invited to attend.
The choir program is holding auditions from May 10-May 25. If you are interested in auditioning for the advanced ensembles (Concert Choir, Bellissima, Choralaires) or want to be a part of the introductory choirs (Zorro, Serenity), please come talk to Mr H in room E139. Singers and musicians of all levels are welcome!
Foxes, our 2017 spirit games are coming up Friday, June 2nd! Stop by the Fox Shop during lunch to purchase spirit gear – we have SHS apparel, crazy wigs, face paint, necklaces, eyeblacks, cheer sticks, and more!

Attention all Freshmen: If you signed up for SPIRIT DANCE, there will be a practice on Thursday after school in the small gym until 4:30.
Seniors-If you need your 8th semester transcripts sent to a college, please come in the counseling center and sign up on the clipboard.
Attention theater people: The Ballot for Friday’s awards night is ready. Pick one up from Mr. O and vote.
All night Grad. Tickets have been sales have been extended. They will be on sale this Tue, Wed, and, Thurs during both lunches.
Please be checking the list outside the library for fines and missing books. You need to have your fines paid or books in for graduation. Take care of this today!
If you are planning on pursuing a career in computer science, go to the high school scholarship website for 7 career specific scholarship opportunities!  Go to the national tab and look for “Google for Education” or see Mrs. Valoff in the counseling office with questions.
Seniors-If you gave Mrs. Roth in Admin Office a baby picture to scan for the senior slideshow, please come by and pick it up from her.  Thank you!
