FOOTBALL PLAYERS: There will be no weights after school this week. Tuesday January 2rd will be our first after school weight lifting session. Please make sure to see Coach Craig in A-107 about signing up for helping with the concession stands during the upcoming boys’ and girls’ basketball games.
Students:
If you are feeling a festive, come to room B202 during RIE on Thursday to make borax crystal ornaments. Both RIE sessions are open to the first 25 to show up.
Think welding is just for guys? Well it’s not! In fact women are in high demand for a variety of skilled jobs including welding and fabrication. If you’d like to try your hand at a new skill consider joining the GMAW (Welding) class next semester. See a counselor today for more information!

Hola Las Águilas: Come to A212 during RIE this week! Let’s celebrate our 1st place for the Tree that you all decorated last Friday.
Attention sophomores, juniors and seniors: If you are interested in taking the HOLOCAUST class please see your counselor ASAP! This course will discuss the social, cultural, and political environments that resulted in rising anti-Semitism throughout the world during pre-WWII centuries.  We will look at the facts of the Holocaust, rescuers and bystanders, world knowledge of event, rise of Hitler, the Hitler view, and the role of WWI/WWII during that time.  Finally, discuss post-Holocaust effects on world, refugees and the forgotten, and implications for societies today. It’s a fascinating course that we have the opportunity to return to our schedule second semester. Sign-up today with your counselor!
Project Graduation T-shirts/Sweatshirts are available to order now until Dec 14th.  This is a new due date so it’s not too late to order them.  Orders should be in the week of Jan 8th.   We will have another order date first of February with possibly a new style or two added to order sheet.  Order forms can be picked up and payments dropped off at Mrs. (Lisa) Roth’s office in back of library.  Also, we have several seniors who have not signed the “18”.  Please come see her to sign it.
