Are You Ready?

We are excited for Silverton High School 2020 Commencement Ceremony! People have been hard at work to create an event that will be memorable as we honor our graduates.

Graduates will receive a gift bag upon checking in. This will include programs for the ceremony, a mask, and a few gifts for the Class of 2020.  If a graduate did not pick up honor cords, medals, certificates, etc. earlier, they will be in the bag as well.

Here are a few final details and reminders:

FM Frequency:  87. 9 (this will have very limited range)

Live Stream Link:   https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_rQQAXmhkS1e9LmdgfyD2Cg

Restrooms:  These are available for emergencies. Please keep in mind that we have a strict number of people allowed out of cars at any given time.  We will be pushing that number for most of the evening. They also need to be sanitized after each use. Please keep this in mind before you come to the ceremony.

VERY IMPORTANT: Per Oregon Department of Education guidance, only 24 people are allowed outside of vehicles at any given time. This includes workers, performers, speakers, graduates, etc.

Parking: Please double-check your parking assignment. If you are in Row A – J you will enter from Western Ave. If you are in Row K – R you will enter from Kromminga Dr. Please stay in your spot as it is associated with the order your name will be called in the ceremony.  Unsure of your parking assignment?  Please email to request this information.

Masks: A mask will be provided for each graduate. Per ODE guidance, masks must be worn at all times outside of vehicles and, if windows are rolled down, inside of vehicles as well. If windows stay up, masks can be removed.

Decorating Vehicles: If you are going to decorate your vehicle, please make sure it is appropriate. This would be anything that would show support of the class of 2020 or Silverton High School. Please consider what the school would allow you to hold/wear/display as you walk the aisle in a typical graduation ceremony in the gym. Any vehicle with inappropriate decorations/messages will be asked to remove them or leave the ceremony.

Congratulations Class of 2020!
