The Silverton High School Red Cross Club is sponsoring our final blood drive of the year and we invite students, faculty, parents, and community members to join us in making one more donation this year.  Our goal is to collect 124 units on May 26th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm and we need your help filling our appointments.  The three main recipient groups that receive blood from our drives are individuals who have been in an accident, patients fighting cancer, and premature babies.

You must be 16 years old to participate in the Red Cross Blood Drive.  Permission slip for individuals 16 years old in the attachment.  Sign up here to donate blood on May 26th and we will send you an email with your donation appointment.

This will be our 5th blood drive during the pandemic and our students have helped us run incredibly safe drives that are making a difference to patients in need of blood products.  We know that people have really busy schedules this time of year and thank you in advance for looking at your calendar; we hope that you can find time on Wednesday to fill an appointment.

This month’s blood drive is also our last chance to raise a few more scholarships through the Red Cross Scholars program, so help us reach our goal by donating blood at Silverton High on May 26th.    Learn more about blood donations here:
