The SHS Tree of Giving Fundraiser will be kicking off on Friday, November 5th. Each year the SHS Student Body, with the help of our SHS staff, raises money to buy needed items for students in need in our community during the holiday season. Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 and help 100 students. This is a great time for students to come together, have fun, and give back!
Here are the fundraising main events. There will also be other mini-fundraising activities that will be taking place!
Monday, Nov. 8th during AG in the Auditorium
Students can bring their money the day of the event and compete/spectate or pay the bookkeeper ahead of time. Sign-up outside the ASB room. The cost to compete is $5 and to spectate $1.
Wednesday, Nov. 10th During both Lunches in the Main Gym
Students pay $5 for multiple tickets and play games to win prizes such as donuts, cupcakes, etc.
Bingo AG Competition
Friday, Nov. 12th During AG in the Commons
Each AG will fill out the AG Bingo document, collect money for bingo cards, and submit to the Bookkeeper. AG’s will compete to win a Roth’s donut party for their class and individual prizes for each bingo win.
Mario Kart AG Competition
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (Nov. 15 – 19) during AG
The cost is $10 for each competitor representing an AG and includes 2 spectators. Each AG will fill out the form and turn it into the Bookkeeper. 9th and 11th will compete on Monday in the Auditorium. 10th & 12th will compete on Wednesday. The winners from each class will compete on Friday for the victory! The AG that wins will earn a Roth’s donut party. The overall winner will also win an individual prize.
Thursday, Dec. 2nd after school from 5:45 to 9:00 PM
Teams must consist of 6-8 players. The fee to play is $15 per player and includes a t-shirt. Admission to come to watch is $3. Forms to sign up are outside of the ASB room. Payment and forms should be turned into the Bookkeeper.
