Proceeds from the event will go towards the improvement of the Silverton Athletic Facilities and will assist with projects like The Fieldhouse, which will be used by SHS Athletics and Youth Softball and Baseball. Silverton Athletic facilities are used by the entire community, and we want to continue to improve our facilities so more people can benefit from the opportunities they provide.

Honorees:  The 1968-1969 Silverton High Boys Basketball team  – Coach Roy Schmidt and players: Dixon Bledsoe, Mike Bothum, Mark Henjum, Steve Herr, Dave Meyer, Dean Oster, Gene Oster, Henry Tautfest, Don Von Weller, Ron Gooding, Dennis Bacon, and Mel Bushman.   The team helped to turn the tide, helping to create a winning tradition.  Many of these teammates returned home to Silverton and raised their families. They have continued to invest in our community for the past 50 years, building businesses, coaching youth teams, and serving as community leaders.
