Suicide Prevention & Awareness Week Silverton High School, in partnership with the Matthew Unrein Memorial Foundation, is coming together for SHS Project 988, a week focused on connection, awareness, and reminding students that no one has to face difficult moments alone. Throughout the week, students will learn about mental health, suicide prevention, and 988 during AG and participate in lunchtime activities to spread awareness. Students will also receive a FREE student-designed SHS Project 988 T-shirt. 988 is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, offering free and confidential support for anyone experiencing a mental health or emotional crisis, or anyone concerned about someone else. Families are encouraged to continue these conversations at home and help students understand what 988 is and how to access it. Know the number. Know the resource.
